Foundation Bengals Cats and Kittens require more time and care by the experienced Breeder, than SBT Bengals. This extra time spent is what helps to create wild-looking, excellent house pets. The parent Foundation Bengals also are considerably more expensive for the Breeder to purchase, than SBT Bengals. And Foundation Bengals are much more rare, than SBT Bengals. Most Breeders will not venture into this exclusive, higher level of early generation Bengals... Santa Fe Bengal Cattery does. And we do all of the right things to Breed BETTER BENGALS for our Kitten Buyers. Foundation Bengals can be wonderful companion pets!
The Kitten Pricing below is an average outline. Quality and use of the Kitten may mean a higher or lower price, than the listed prices, as determined by the quality of each individual Kitten.
Foundation Bengal Kitten pricing is as follows:
F2 Female Kittens: $2500. to $3000. F2 Male Kittens: $1800. to $2200.
F3 Female Kittens: $2000. to $2500. F3 Male Kittens: $1500. to $1800.
And pricing for Actual F4 Kittens:
F4 Female Kittens: $1500. to $2000. F4 Male Kittens: $1200. to $1500.
As with SBT Bengal Kittens, the Kittens are priced according to their quality. However, Foundation Bengals develop more slowly than SBT Bengals and we grade them at about 8 to 12 weeks of age. All of our Kittens are bred to be as close to Breed Standard as possible and we have Supreme Grand Champion Blood Lines for our breeding program. Most States do not require any special licensing to own Foundation Bengals, however, it is the Kitten Buyers' responsibility to be aware of and to comply with their resident State's individual laws regarding Early Generation Bengal Ownership, as well as any applicable pet licensing for felines in general. And, if a Foundation Bengal (for Europe, Foundation is F 1, 2, 3, and sometimes F4) is shipped internationally, the Breeder or Pet Owner must comply with their country's laws and regulations for SBT and for Foundation Bengals. This is the new Owners responsibility. SFBC is responsible for safely and legally getting the Kitten or Cat to the new Owner. SFBC must be assured legally that the Kitten or Cat will be legally accepted in the state or country and will be safely housed by the new Owner. SFBC has the right to refuse shipment and not to return the deposit, if it would be unsafe to ship the Kitten or Cat to a certain location. Shipping internationally is more than double of what domestic shipping costs are to be legally in accordance with the USFWS and the international CITES regulations and laws . Deposits are not refundable. SFBC will work with the Buyer to have the happiest of conclusions to their purchase of a new addition to their family or to their Cattery. We will consider transferring a deposit to another Kitten or Cat of a different filial generation, if that will allow us to ship legally.
